In a society full of millennials especially the younger ones in their early teens trying to fit in with a lot of curiosity on emerging secular trends, 12 year old Zaria Njeri has already chosen her right path. The path to a Christian living.
Our gospel ministry seems blurry from the other side with a number of notable exits and backsliding. The female gospel ministry is however still held tight with the likes of Size 8 Reborn who have kept their flame both in congregation and on the pulpit.
Zaria Njeri is in grade seven hopping to join junior secondary in a couple of months. Let’s just say we are looking at great singer and songwriter and dancer with numerous accolades and awards on her shoulders. She doubles up as a sprinter too. A sport which has earned her trophies.
Other than performing arts Zaria has mastered landscape painting side of visual arts.
At 10 years her peers were already singing along to her first ever tune “I can do it all”.
Twelve looks great on her coming up with another major gospel sound dubbed “NGOJA RIPOTI” .Let’s say her local Baptist church has a lot to do with her spirituality and nurturing geared towards Christ.
Ngoja Ripoti is another sing along jam produced by Vicky Pon Dis and its video shot both in a street and studio setting. Epic locations that suite dance performance have been synchronized with colorful costumes quite presentable. The kids are so vibrant and full of energy as they dance to Ngoja Ripoti.
This is a tune made of melody and rhymes so relatable with lyrics encouraging Christians to pray and believe ….”piga magoti. Ngoja Ripoti…” She sings.
