Alex Heakam, known as DJ King, was born on January 13, 1990, to the family of Innocent Nwankwo in Umundor, Ulakwo 1, Etche, Rivers State, Nigeria. He is the third child in his family. DJ King grew up with the support of his family, who were able to provide him with the resources for his education and personal growth. Raised with a strong sense of faith, Alex was an active member of the Apostolic Christian Faith Mission (A.C.F.M), where he excelled in playing the drums, bass guitar, and keyboard.

DJ King attended Community Secondary School Ulakwo (C.S.S.U), where he completed his WAEC and NECO in 2009. He was later admitted to MTN School in 2010/2011, where he was trained to become a computer wizard. In addition to his academic achievements, Alex was a talented dancer and a member of the Golden Boy Breakers in Etche, Rivers State, where he was recognized as one of the top dancers.
Work Experience:
After completing his IT training at Touch Technologies Company in 2014, Alex began working as a computer engineer. However, in late 2015, he returned home and started a successful recharge card printing business. Unfortunately, on November 12, 2015, he was robbed of all his belongings. A friend then lent him DJ equipment, leading to his career as a DJ.
Personal Life:
As a DJ, Alex found stability and got married, living a comfortable life. In 2018, he acquired his own DJ equipment, and in 2020, he was appointed as the Chairman of Etche DJs, a position he holds to this day.
Musical Career: He started his career when he was small but there was no help, on December God showed him his divine connection, and he was blessed. On December 15, 2024, DJ King released a 10-track album, blessing his fans with his music. He continues to be a prominent figure in the music and entertainment industry in Etche, Rivers State, with the tracks like: Etche People, Leave me Alone, Help Your Brother, Happiness and More. All the named tracks are all available on all digital platforms globally, such as Boomplay, iTunes, apple store, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Etc.
