Michael Saviour Oryiman (born December 24, 2000) also known as Brizz Aviour or Brizz for short is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and aspiring record producer. Brizz’s blend of Afrobeats is fused with elements of R and B, Global Pop Music and Trap Music, in what he terms AfroSwing. Brizz won the ‘Catch up’ cover challenge by FreeLance Free in 2021 and was noticed by MMAC Entertainment who managed the online challenge. Brizz signed officially to MMAC Entertainment in January 2022 and was on the studio collaboration ‘Your body’ with FreeLance and Byrd Supreme of Supreme Lifestyle released in February 2022.

Brizz released his first official single ‘Working’ in April 2022 with an official video which released in June 24 2022 and an E.P. planned for release August 2022.

Early Life:

Michael Saviour Oryiman was born on December 24, 2000, in Katsina Ala in Benue State, Nigeria to Micheal Mkira Mbagbera and Bridget Mkira Micheal. Brizz is the youngest of six children born to a humble polygamous family. He spent most of his early years with his guardian Esther Mrumun Bashi where he attended College Practicing School and NKST Secondary School both in Katsina Ala but moved to Gboko to live with his mother after the passing of his benefactor in 2013. In 2017 Brizz moved to Abuja where he was in service to a businessman, while in service, Brizz started writing and recording songs on his phone.

Musical Career:

Brizz Aviour started making music as a kid. As a lover of Hip-hop and R&B music, he was inspired by the likes of Lil Wayne, Drake, Akon, J. Cole and Nigerian Wizkid growing up. As Brizz’s love and passion for music grew, he started writing songs, however with no access to a recording studio record or session, Brizz started making songs with the android app “tune_me using his itel phone including the song “Good for Love” and many more.

Brizz discovered the app “Bandlab” which he used in making covers to popular songs made all his instagram covers and the unofficial singles Flawless and Anika, as well as the FreeLance’s Catch Up Cover Challenge Song. Brizz’s song Anika, though recorded on his phone, was produced by Vybetunez for him. VybeTunez who also discovered Brizz on Instagram loved his sound and let him record on the beat.

Brizz started working with producer Danx late in 2021 where he recorded his verse in the single “Your Body”. The single, a collaboration with MMAC Entertainment affiliates FreeLance Free and Byrd Supreme of the Supreme Lifestyle was produced by Otyno, mixed and mastered by Loud Room Studios. The official video for “Your Body” was released simultaneously on February 14, 2022. The video was directed by Promise Charles with post production by Star Power Studios.

Brizz’s first official solo single “Working” produced by Danx, mixed and mastered by Gemstar Pro was released on April 4, 2022. The release of the track was followed by the #WorkingChallenge on Instagram powered by MMAC Entertainment with many new and established dancers around Nigeria participating in the challenge. An official video for the single “Working” directed by Iccentrik Visuals, which was  premiered on  24 June 2022 on cable TV music channels as well as on YouTube.

Brizz is rumoured to be working on an official E.P. expected to be released by the end of summer. The E.P. is expected to feature about seven tracks which explores Brizz’s versatility from Afrobeat infused R&B to dance heavy tracks, Amapiano and Afrotrap sounds exploring topics from love to heart break to the inevitable quest for success and fame.

Personal Life:

Brizz is known to be very reserved and focused. He is currently single and not in any known relationships.
