Deborah Ohiri-Oletubo, professionally known as Debbie Ohiri is an award- winning multidisciplinary
international performing artist with over 15 years of experience. She’s a trained Folk singer Chanter, Singer/Songwriter,Vocal coach, Actor,Alaga and a Dr in the Arts.
Her creative genres spawn from the loins of the guitar maestro “BOB OHIRI” King Sunny Ade’s first tenor guitarist who played with Fela Anikulapo for a short period. Bob Ohiri introduced the tenor guitar to Juju music..
Debbie is known for her rich voice & vocal dexterity that has travelled across Theatre, Film,Tv ,Events her works have featured at The American Repertory Theatre Harvard, The Public Theatre (off Broadway) ,Thalia Theatre Germany ,Segerstrom Centre For Arts California ,UN Headquarters ,Muson,Terra kulture, National Theatre ,Netflix,Arise Fashion Week etc …
Debbie Ohiri is passionate about telling the Nigerian and African story in its purest form.
