AfricNoble Awards: Recognizing and Celebrating the West Africans Who Have Made a Noble Difference

Accra, Ghana, September 15, 2023 – LoversGh Network Ltd, a radio and media broadcast company that has been noted well in events hosting and media publicity and management, in collaboration with AfricNoble Awards Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to promote excellence, integrity and nobility among West Africans, is proud to announce the launch of the AfricNoble Awards, a new award scheme that aims to recognize and celebrate the noble-minded West Africans who have made significant contributions to the development of their countries and the continent in various fields of endeavor, such as arts, culture, education, health, sports, media, etc.

The AfricNoble Awards is a platform that will showcase the achievements of the awardees to the world and inspire the younger generation to emulate their noble examples. The award ceremony will be held annually in different West African countries, starting from Ghana in 2023.

The AfricNoble Awards is open to all African citizens or residents, or those who have a strong connection to Africa through their work or heritage, who are between 20 and 35 years old at the time of application. Applicants must have demonstrated excellence, creativity, impact, and leadership in their respective fields, either as individuals or as part of a team or organization. Applicants must also have contributed to the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Africa or globally, especially when conducted in or related to African biosphere reserves or potential biosphere reserves.

The selection process for the AfricNoble Awards will consist of two steps: voting and judging. Voting will involve the public who will cast their votes for their favorite nominees through an online platform. Judging will involve a panel of experts and judges from various fields and backgrounds who will evaluate and score the applications based on predefined criteria. The final winners will be selected and announced by the AfricNoble Awards Committee, based on the combination of voting results (60%) and judges’ scores (40%).

The AfricNoble Awards will offer the following benefits to the winners:

  • A trophy and a certificate of recognition.
  • A media exposure and publicity opportunity through various channels and platforms.
  • A chance to participate in future events and activities related to the AfricNoble Awards.
  • All Official Nominees will be honored at the Award dinner with Nomination Certificate Frames and other ceremonial protocols, and winners of each award category will further receive golden plaques.

The nominations for the AfricNoble Awards are now open until October 15, 2023. Interested applicants can submit their applications through the Official WhatsApp Number +233256641177.  Applicants must provide a brief description of their achievements, a statement of purpose, a letter of recommendation, and any supporting documents or evidence. The AfricNoble Awards Committee may endorse only two applications per country per year.
