When you look at the photos of Kingplug, in which he is together with his friends, he is really noticeable among them all. He has a memorable drake haircut and a charming smile. Not everyone can guess that he is a really respectable person in the music industry and the manager of one of the most popular celebrities in the country. Nobody could have imagined that he will reach such great success, but he proved them wrong.
Kingplug was born on March 30th, 1998. He is the last son of he’s father. among 5 kids in he’s family. When King mum was pregnant, she lost her husband before giving bath to King, He was only 6years old, when he knew he has been fatherless for years. So he had to grow up and adjust to adulthood very quickly. He went to Shining Start Royal college in ALABA Int’l Mkt, Ojo Lagos State, and graduated in 2008. He dropped out of college, stating that he supports education and thinks everyone needs to get a certain level of it, but the higher education is not for him. In his opinion, some people with Master’s degrees are struggling to find a job, while some who have not received full education are maintaining great business.
According to , Kingplug he is a very emotional person. When he was asked how he reached his amazing success, he says that every young person can reach the same thing if they are determined and really want It. He also advises young people not to listen to those who tell them that they are unable to do it. In response to the question about his favourite Nigerian musician, Kingplug obviously named Specdo and also mentioned Davido, Wizkid, Sina Rambo, Ice Prince, 2 Baba, Wande Coal, and Femi Kuti. King Plug’s best pastime whenever he has a free minute is watching movies at home or in studio playing new hit songs with his friends. By the way, he is also a passionate supporter of Nigerian national football team.
Kingplug did not get what he has now thanks to Tmy Media Company. However, his family members are quite influential, and because of them, he has been involved in Artist management and show business since he was young. His close friend & brother is a well-known musician 2face Idibia, Specdo, Victor Ad, Aboli, and his uncle is Obi King, who is the CEO of Century Mall ALABA intl Mkt.
King Plug began working at Emperor Production, thanks to this company.
He was only sixteen when his career kicked off. He worked with such famous people as 2Face, Davido, Timaya, Mayorkun, Peruzzi Vibes, Zlatan, Victor Ad, Mr Real, Joe’el, Dj Ecool, YungSix, Slim case, Orista Femi, Ice Prince,Soft, Joeboy + more and of course, his artist Specdo. He was also involved in the production of such shows as Homecoming with MTN and “GOOD TIME ” Davido concert.
Aside that, he contributed to the program motion and success of Tmy Media Production Company in Chevron paradise 1. Thanks to him, the venue has become one of the most visited place in the city.
Kingplug and Specdo
The paths of King Plug and Specdo first crossed many years ago. King started managing Specdo’s music career and got acquainted with his team. The duo was very productive together. When he was asked about his work with Specdo, Kingplug confessed that the job was really demanding, and sometimes all that went wrong was blamed on him, but regardless it was a lot of fun. He enjoyed planning the strategies, going to the meetings, and promoting the music. He mentioned that the important thing about performing this kind of work is having a lot of self-control. So, those who think King Plug’s job is really easy are wrong because he always has to be responsible for everything and has a lot of duties on his shoulders. The additional pressure is his young age – when he first began working with Specdo, he was only 20 years old. However, they managed to get some good work going. Kingplug was around during Specdo’s breakthrough hit “Branama”. It was the single that brought him fame and acknowledgement.
