nominations were opened to all African countries and 70 categories were presented to file for with a board that chaired to screen all applicants for this year’s edition.

It noted to reach out to 54 African countries successfully with our first introduction, therefore as vision the scheme soon be hosting other editions in these countries soon.
The scheme had its own gala for this year, which drew a large crowd to the theatre yesterday, commemorating and rewarding all creatives across the sector on the theme of promoting and supporting true African culture, music and arts.
The 1st African Awards will soon be Africa’s No. 1 due to the tremendous efforts put forth by the organizers to make this scheme a success, as evidenced by the numerous histories written about it.
