Ofeno Michael, professionally known as Rexque is a Nigerian song writer, and performing artist. Rexque is an independent music artist. He first broke into the scene with his hit single “Emotions” in 2020. He has since then gained more hits. He is renowned for his melodic hooks and stacked vocals which has become his signature style.
Early Life & Career;
Rexque was Inspired by Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Big Wiz, Davido, Burna Boy and the likes. He began making music professionally in 2015. He started singing as a choir in the church and later formed a team in 2014 and then got signed by a record label in 2019(EME) before having managerial issues that affected his old brand. He created a self made genre and his music fuses elements of Afro MindMusik.
