Andrew,Kingston Jamaica, she was often dubbed “Bad Fatty” as her style sets her apart from the crowd, from an early age Soturi recognized her star potential and worked diligently to perfect her craft, she joined st Andrew Technical Choir where she had an opportunity to participate in Jamaican National events such as J.C.D.C and TVJ’s “All Together Sing”
Currently based in houston, Texas Soturi started exploring music professionally in 2015 where she teamed up with producer Shawn Michaels of Circle Music Group
After a break away from the scene “Soturi” redefined her brand and made a return with “Dem Man Yah Wicked” a counter action to the popular song by Nvasion. Ready to take over she has opened for Dancehall acts like Spice, jada kingdom, Shaneil Muir.
Soturi merges her love for Jamaican music with Afrobeats to create a high energy sound in her music the songstress empowers black women to be fearless bold and sexy, whiles she pays respect to her predecessors. The plus sized diva encourages body positivity in sharing her own personal journey of self love, confidence and resilience.
Soturi demanding presence and dynamic voice continues to open doors for her in the entertainment business and this continues to show she would be here for a long time.
