On the back of his bouncy love anthem, ‘Lovina’, Idahams and fellow Portharcourt duo, Ajebo Hustlers, release Bad Girl- a scintillating serenade delivered with the fluent mix of melody and lamba that have become a trademark of the sounds from the garden city. The Afropop number, produced by Yussy Beats is the lead single off his much-anticipated debut album- ‘Truth, Love and Confession’, scheduled for release in September 2022.
‘Bad Girl’ in keeping with the project’s theme, is a love confession weaved expertly into the mid-tempo soundscape created by Yussy, On this song, Idahams and Ajebo Hustlers have their heads in the clouds as they sing of love, lust, and devotion.
Speaking of the collaboration, Idahams comments;
“When I started this record, I kept on wondering who I would like to jump on and I ended up with my friends (Ajebo Hustlers) because I felt they would give the song that extra spice that it needed to deliver on the storyline.”
Inspired, talented, and with a head full of melodies, Idahams still has more stories to tell. Bad Girl is a prelude to his debut LP and a promise of what’s to come.
