Give us a brief introduction of yourself and what prompted you to start Redefined Consult Limited?
My name is Sheriff Braimah, fondly called Mister Redefined by my friends and colleagues in the Entertainment Industry. I am the founder and the Team Lead of Redefined Consult Limited. My journey into the study abroad industry was driven by a combination of personal experiences, a passion for education, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students seeking international education opportunities.

Our mission is to assist students all over Africa, not just Nigerians, to help students understand their academic and career goals. We provide guidance on choosing the right destination, university or college, and program of study based on the student’s interests, qualifications, and budget.
In your opinion, what are the key benefits of studying abroad, and why should Nigerian students consider this option?
Studying abroad can offer numerous benefits such as career advancement, personal growth and development, global networking, academic excellence, cultural exposure, etc. and these advantages are not limited to students from any particular country. Nigerian students, like students from around the world, can gain a wide range of experiences and skills by pursuing education abroad.

Nigerian students, like students from many other countries, can face several common challenges when planning to study abroad. These challenges can vary depending on the destination country and the specific circumstances of each student. Based on personal experience over the years, most challenges faced by students in general are financial constraints, visa and immigration procedures, cultural adjustment, language proficiency, accommodations, and a host of others.

We have professionals like admissions counselors who help students identify suitable universities and programs based on their academic qualifications, and career goals, and also visa advisors who specialize in the visa application process for different countries. They keep up-to-date with the latest immigration regulations and assist students in preparing visa applications and possible visa interviews. We also give students both pre-departure orientation and post-arrival support.
What success stories or notable achievements can you share regarding Nigerian students who have realized their study abroad dreams with the assistance of Redefined Consult Limited?
We have had a series of success stories and notable achievements, but I think the most inspiring of them is about a student whose visa was denied along with his wife and he has already given up on coming to the UK. After our team of visa advisors looked at his refusal letter, we decided to push for an administrative review which took about 5 months. The refusal was eventually overturned and a visa was granted to himself and his wife.
