Ayodeji Afolabi is an 18-year-old Nigerian- American songwriter and musician. He is musically known as Day-G whose genres are Pop, R&B and Afrobeat.
Day-G made his debut recently with his hit single titled “Excuse me” after successfully launching some of the best songs leading to this, from “Heartbreaker” to “Just know”.
As a fully raised Yoruba man, Day-G gives us a rich blend of Nigerian-American music which is visible in his latest single. His ability to join juggle school with songwriting and recording among other things has been a puzzle to a lot of his fans.
He has mentioned on several occasions that his close associates have described him as attentive, team player and always ready to learn when the chance presents itself. In his words “I think that the ability to be a proper human being is having the knowledge about a lot of things, and learning never stops, so why should I stop”.
